3 years 10 months active duty.
Not prior existing to service
I just signed my NARSUM and i have a copy of the package, but what it boils down to is 2 lists.
List 1: Referred to MEB for -
Scoliosis
Lumbago
Schmorl's Node (bulging disc)
List 2: VA/QTC findings -
Cervical spine
C4-C5, C5-C6 Disk Degeneration
Thoracic Spine
T12/T1 Schmorl's Node
Moderation Dextroscoliosis
Lumbar Spine
Mild S shaped Scoliosis
L4-5 facet joint arthrosis
Degenerative Arthritis of the Lumbar Spine
Now, i'm fairly confident i will be found unfit to continue service. But what i'm confused is which list is going to be rated for retirement purposes? And i've heard differing reports on how it will be rated. For example, i've been told only one condition for my back can be rated, so what's the deal? Scoliosis and Arthritis are two very different conditions.
I mostly don't understand how the rating will occur given the combination of my conditions.
