Hello everyone, I have a bit of a lengthy timeline here and this process is taking its toll on me mentally. I hope to find people here with relatable situations who can provide peace of mind at this point.
So I was told a MEB was being initiated in March of 2021.
10 March 2021- NARSUM from Dr.
April 2021- entered IDES and CC impact statement signed.
June 2021- VA appointment’s completed
Sep 2021- Received my 618, told I was recommended for sep/retirement and I signed agreeing to this decision.
* I was told everything was going to be sent to AFPC and that I would receive my DOD&Va rating proposals in a couple weeks.
For 3 months I called, emailed , and talked to everyone up and down my chain of command up until January 3rd when I was told my paperwork was lost.
Luckily I had copies of everything which I provided. At this point 4 people had touched my case , it kept bouncing from person to person.
January 26th I was told a new person had my case.
At this point I submitted an IG complaint on 31 Jan 22 (I know I should have sooner!!)
I was contacted by the Peblo office that a new CC impact statement had to be completed since the old one was over 6 months old. (Wtf…wouldnt everything have to be completed again then)
2 Feb- new CC statement signed and submitted to Peblo
2 Feb- Peblo contacted me telling me everything has been submitted to the IPEB and could take 31 days.
My question is, what exactly am I waiting for at this point? Is the local board being redone or am I just waiting for ratings? I don’t know who to trust at this point which is why I got IG involved. I’m mentally drained and ready to move on.
