I know I searched these forums constantly, so here's my timeline to add to the pile. This is from leaving my state until getting my retirement date. I'll add comments as my tech side starts moving.

Point to make, there is no official clock for how long it takes your state to process your packet. Mine was there for YEARS. As a tech, I wasn't as big of a thorn in their side as some people were. A coworker wasn't well liked in his unit as it was and he hassled his unit and the state constantly. His was moved to the top of the list. Another coworker opened an IG complaint about how long it was taking and his didn't move any quicker than mine did.

First contacts
09MAY25 - packet left the state
23MAY25 - first contact with PEBLO
23MAY25 - first contact with service coordinator

MEB
27MAY25 - opted to not have my current VA rating changed based on IDES findings. I was sitting at 60% VA at the time and didn't want to somehow risk going down and losing the free healthcare.
30MAY25 - scheduled appointments; one full body and one hearing. I was told everyone saw BH as well, but I didn't.
03JUN25 - mandatory IDES briefing through Teams
04JUN25 - full body C&P exam
10JUN25 - hearing C&P exam. I didn't claim hearing and she didn't even do a hearing test. Don't know why they sent me there.
23JUN25 - received MEB determination. 12 conditions were found to be unfit.
24JUN25 - signed and returned
26JUN25 - final review complete. My packet was sent to the PEB.

PEB
02SEP25 - I contacted my PEBLO asking if there was any update. My PEBLO told me to expect 60 days, so I left a grace period then contacted her. She said it was still with the VA.
20OCT25 - after calling QTC a few times asking for updates, I got a text saying a new appointment was requested. I called them, my paperwork was being held up due to the determination in the Ingram v Collins case. They made one of my coworkers do another full body C&P exam, they asked me two questions over the phone. This allowed my packet to return to the VA for a physician review.
18NOV25 - VA made a determination on my DoD rating - 80%. No VA rating as I didn't request it.
03DEC25 - received that paperwork in the mail and sent it to my PEBLO asking what was next. Once the VA makes that decision, the PEB still has to review it to decide if they conquer or not.
05DEC25 - PEBLO sent me the informal decision DA Form 199. I signed that I agreed and sent it back Friday after hours.
08DEC25 - PEBLO sent the DA Form 199 back to the PEB
09DEC25 - PEB and retirement orders hit iPERMS. Retirement date: 07JAN26

Down and dirty timelines:
Left my state to final determination - 214 days
MEB - 30 days
PEB - 163 days
Final determination to retirement - 29 days

Tech
9DEC25 - notified supervisor, provided him with retirement orders

I'll update tech side as things go!

Hey just a question about the Ingram ruling, I completed everything and have my proposed ratings and signed my election of options months ago but government shutdown delayed my seperation and I still haven’t gotten my final findings from the PEB, now I have scheduled c&p exams for the Ingram law chnages. IDES attorney and peblo stated it won’t affect my timeline as it’s something separate that the VA is doing. You mentioned it held things up for you though so I’m confused whether or not I’m stuck waiting for these new exams? I’m navy btw

I am official med boarded out on the 24th and loosing my fed tech position on the 27th of February. Have you applied for a fed disability retirement? Or have to do anything with dfas for your retirement pay?

Start looking for a FERS disability attorney to assist you. They don't get paid unless you win. Typically to get FERS disablity they will require you to apply for SSDI. Slim chance to get SSDI but they require it in case you qualify for that instead of getting FERS disability.

I just went thru this as well. The VA scheduled an ACE exam, over the phone, took about 7-10 minutes, series of questions about prescription drugs. They then closed my case out fully the same day. Doesn't appear to have affected the PEB phase yet for me as it didn't change my ratings(I'm already maxed out in both of my unfitting conditions)
