HRC Army Current Timeline and CRSC estimate

So kinda confused here. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to just use the disability multipier for thos of us who med retired with not enough creditable yrs of service to receive a higher retirement pay.
To me I was in for 4 yrs and am in process of changing disability and am wondering why would I choose the regular multiplier if the disability % not to exceed 75% would give me a way higher retirement pay?
You guys are always using the least amount of percent. If he has 70% dod you would do retired base pay * 70% (not to exceed 75%)

Quick math. For DDM_SGT

So 1741.43×.70= 1218.30
Wouldn't this be his retirement pay? Based off the medical retirement calculator used on the link below by dfas. It literally says base pay × multiplier. Which is either creditable yrs of service ×2.5% or your retired dod %.
Also says the member chooses. So please do your guys math correctly to receive the maximum amount allowed by law the board isn't going to help us get the higher amount and from my assumption it probably automatically applies the basic multiplier unless the member asks for dod % multiplier. Can someone please read into this further as well so we can all understand

Disability retired pay is usually the higher of the approved DOD disability percentage x average high three base pay
OR
The longevity multiplier x average high three

The retired pay will be reduced dollar for dollar in the amount of the VA compensation

Approved CRSC will result in the lesser of
—Longevity portion of retired pay
or
—Amount in VA comp tables for the CRSC approved percentage

Longevity portion : active duty equivalent x 2.5% = longevity multiplier (2% for blended retirement)
high three x longevity multiplier = longevity portion of retirement pay

There are hundreds of CRSC computation examples on this web site.
