-started PEB July 14, 2015
-finished last VA exam August 30 2015
- signed narsum September 14 2015
- package excepted by PEB September 17 2015
-called peblo and he told me my package was with the VA on Nov 11 2015

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

In my opinion from the information provided via an U.S. Army perspective, you are definitely "on-track" while continuing your progression within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process at this point in time.

Since the PEB phase has an officially published DoD timeline of 120 calendar days for both Active Component (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) military personnel, you are within the normal "waiting pattern" at this point albeit your assigned PEBLO has a three day maximum limit to inform you of the forthcoming IPEB findings and your election options once he/she receive your IPEB fitness determination and DoVA disability ratings.

To that extent, the DoD's officially published timeline for AC military personnel within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process is 295 calendar days, and RC military personnel is 305 calendar days. Indeed, any available current DoD IDES processing timelines for official IDES completion shall definitely vary due to IDES case loads by your military department's PDA/PEB and the total number of on-hand DoVA D-RAS' IDES case files for VA disability rating evaluation.

As such, the aforementioned feedback is probably not what you want to read at this point, but your patience to include remaining "positively proactive" shall be rewarded in the form of IPEB findings upon its availability by your military department's PDA. Take care!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer!"

Best Wishes!

Just talked to the VA this morning and my proposed ratings were sent to my peblo today Dec 2nd. Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get to my peblo and how long until I'll get my results?

now i want to check on my PEBLO, mine and another guys were sent to the VA that same week 10 Nov.

My package was sent in Nov 6 (still no word on unfit?) and today Ebenies changed from Preparation for Decision to Preparation for Notification (last 5 mins changed to Decision Notification Sent). Haven't heard from PEBLO since the end of Oct.... =\

IPEB accepted my package OCT 19th, still waiting on the fit/unfit findings. how did you get your proposed VA ratings?

I'm ANG, injury is from a 2012 deployment. The VA gave me 30% for the unfitting condition. Not sure if that's changed with the PEB claim.

You got awhile. If ur package got sent out at the end of October you shouldn't hear anything for at least 2 months from what I've been told.

Don't have them yet. My package was sent out sept 14th so it's been over 70 days. I called my peblo he didn't know anything so I called the VA and they said they finished my proposed ratings and they were sent via mail yesterday.

bradyks-so did the board already decide on your case and the VA finished their part as well? If so, do you when the PEB sent your over?

All I know is that the PEB has finsihed my package and same as the VA, they sent my package to the peblo on dec 2nd so it will take a week or 2 to find out my results

Are you east or west?

Status change today Pending Decision Approval !

So I just talked to my peoblo today and I thought that since my proposed ratings were complete and sent off on the 2nd of December that he would have some info for me. But apparently from what he's saying, my results get sent to a QA section first before it gets sent to him so he said it can be another 2 weeks. Anyone know anything about this??!

yup that's what it is on my timeline between 10 Nov and 5 Dec was VA doing the ratings, sent to IPEB on Dec 5th they send it to QA, they send it back to IPEB, someone has to sign it, then you get your ratings for me it was only a couple days but im Air Force. After i signed on Dec 8th it took until yesterday for my orders from the Secretary of the Air Force disability section.

The proposed ratings seem to be quite easy but also the most difficult part of this process. My proposed ratings were sent back to the IPEB on 4 November. It only took the VA roughly a week and a half to complete them and change my claim to pending decision on ebenefits. As of today my proposed ratings at the IPEB has gone through 3 corrections, and 3 times been through QA. My PEBLO and lead PEBLO yesterday called up to the IPEB and asked to hurry up with my documentation as I have been waiting approximately 6 weeks for them. It should be a fairly straight forward and simple process but it does depend on your branch as well

That's crazy that your peblo called them after 6 weeks. I'm on 90 days waiting and I haven't heard a word...
