I had my last VA appt on the 16th of November. Just saw my provider and she said I have about 20 days until I get my rating since my Peblo gets my exams Monday. Anyone know if this is accurate? I thought I had to be found fit/unfit again after the exams?

Yes, but she kind of gave the runaround. She is still waiting on the VA to release my exams to her.Hmm… I was under the same impression. Have you tried contacting your PEBLO?
I really hope so too! I’ve been driving myself crazy looking at timelines. So far I’m thinking the week of 8 Jan to get my ratings back, but then again there are the holidaysSounds like once your PEBLO receives the exams, it should also come with the PEB results of fit/unfit as well as the DoD and VA proposed ratings. Hopefully I’m right.

Mine finally reached out to me and had me sign DAF form 618 and and Impartial Medical Review (IMR) letter.
The 618 basically goes over the ailments/diagnosis that initiated the MEB and whether or not the third party (QTC) medical exams substantiate the conditions. My service’s medical review board agreed with the findings and have recommended “refer to IPEB”.
The IMR asks whether I agree or disagree with the findings. If you disagree, this is the chance to submit a rebuttal and proceed with an Impartial Medical Review… I’ve chosen to agree and will not request an IMR.
My PEBLO tells me that after I return these signed forms is when the DoD and VA begin preparing the preliminary disability ratings. This could take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 months.

I checked in with my PEBLO yesterday. She still has not received the exam results from the VA. I contacted the contractor that did my exam on the 14th of Dec, since it had nearly been a month since my last exam, and they said it is still in the QA phase and then they should send the results to the VA. My last exam was Nov 16th.
