How long is the process?

I was put on LIMDU a few weeks ago. My doctor has told me in no uncertain terms that she believes my condition is unfitting and in some of the paperwork I read through, she makes it clear that this will be referred to a Med Board.

How long after I go on LIMDU would I find out if it went to a PEB or not?

This is for the Navy, stationed in San Diego.

If your conditions don't improve you'll be assigned a case manager for the MEB. They'll help set up your VA C&P exams, your doctor will write up a NARSUM (Narrative Summary) for your referred conditions and your command will write up a NMA (Non Medical Assesment) describing how your referred conditions affect your job. You'll meet with an IDES attorney and a PEBLO long before you sign anything for the PEB. You will know well ahead of time.
