How long does the VA take to make a decision?

alright sounds really good, now the next headache - 199/ percentages offering

Word of Advice! If you concur with your ratings try and knock out your VA exit exam with your MSC the same day, if you have wife and kids make sure you fill out the dependency in front of your MSC along with copy of required documents( marriage, birth certificates, SS cards) and make sure it gets timed stamped in front of you to insure that she uploads it to the VA

Also when you get your DD 214 make sure you hand it directly to your MSC in person and also upload to your ebenefits yourself to be on the safe side

Does anyone know the average time for PEB to type up the 199 and send down? My PEBLO says army average is two to three weeks?

Combat Eng, thanks for all of that advice! I have a follow up though .... I'm recently divorced and I'm pretty positive my ex won't give me our three kid's SSN card and birth certificates, especially when I have a restraining order to keep her from calling my chain. Any advice on how to handle that with the VA?

If you still have parental rights to your kids you should still be able to file the dependency, not sure how you could do it without the birth certificates! Your MSC or PEBLO probably could give your a more clear answer

I have parenting time but the ex is the primary custodian, not to mention I'm paying child support .... wouldn't that be a case for dependacy?
