Met with my PEBLO last week. Meeting with VA rep next week. How is it possible I received this message already?

Your medical board case has been referred to the PEB for action.

I haven’t had a single VA exam or anything? Is this the point in my journey where I’ll receive the fit/unfit determination in the next month or so?

The MEB process is based on your military medical records. The MEB's only authority is to refer you to the PEB (or not). The PEB alone determines if you are unfit.

In my case (and perhaps in yours) it was a no brainer to refer to the PEB. But referral to the PEB does not mean you are out. It just means the PEB will decide if you stay or go.

The MEB is base on medical evidence (not C&P exams). The PEB is a personnel action, based on the your record, your medical condition, command input and military needs.
