Yeah, I looked at the regs/afi's and thought this thing would be over in a few months....it's only in this forum that i came to realize that i'll be on the hurry up and wait program indefinitely.

Well best of luck. Don't sweat it too much..not much you can do at the moment. You have appeal options if it doesn't cover what you think.
Wow, I have not even signed the AF 618! I checked with PEBLO on Friday, but as usual out of office. I'll check again this week. How long did they said that it takes for you to receive your ratings from VA? did they give you a timeline for that?

Yes!! I highly recommend contacting them and even elevating if you have to.. I'm constantly on them.. I check in every week...
I haven't gotten my ratings.. they told me 45 days...So we are about half way through the timeline and I have not heard anything on my ratings..

I got a call from the PEBLO this morning. I will review my case tomorrow before it goes to big AF.
How many days did you get to review your package and is this where legal gets involved? My entire records were not submitted to the C and P examiners. The positive is that the examiners annotated it in the C and P exams.

I honestly do not remember how long you get.. maybe 3 days.. legal gets involved if you want them involved at this step. If you believe something is untrue, improperly documented etc. they'll run everyhing down for you tho! Either way thats good news!
Are you signing your AF 618 tomorrow?
I received my AF 618 today, there are some things in there not documented for one of my conditions, I was hospitalized at Tripler for 3 days due to it. I have until Monday to go see the PEBLO officer. I called the Airmen Defense Council and I was advice to sign and wait for my ratings. Once I get my ratings from AF call the same day since I have only 6 days to get them involved.

It's not the Airmen Defense Council that you concult during this process its they OAC (Office of the Airmen's Counsel) in San Antonio you'll need to contact.
It was the office in San Antonio OAC. Ill sign my 618 on Monday and wait the wait.

I'm going through a meb for psoriatic arthritis as the referred condition and about twenty other claimed things. My case went to AFPC, found unfit, and referred to VA on the same days as you. Just heard from my Peblo that the VA made their rating decision today and that it went back to AFPC who have 5 days to review before sending the rating back to the Peblo. I've been watching this board for a while and hope this timeline info helps.
