I hope I am posting this in the right place.

A little about myself:
I am a SFC in the Army. I am active duty and have been in for almost 11 years. I have deployed to Iraq twice and Afghan once. As of right now I am on a recruiting tour and have 10 months left with that. I have never been in trouble and score 300's on my PT test.

Things that are wrong with me:
I was diagnosed with migrains maybe 7 years ago and it is all documented. ( I usually get one a month but there are getting worse)

I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis and liver disease about a year ago.( I started treatment a year ago by having a pint of blood drawn a week and as of last month I am at every other week now. The Dr told me I would have to have this done for the rest of my life.)

I have a permanent profile for no pushups from a motorcycle injury 5 years ago. (I still to pt and full PT tests) probably shouldnt be!

A little over a month ago I went in for a routine PHA. At the end of the screening the PA told me because of rules and regs he had to submit for a MEB because of my hemochromatosis. He told me I had to inform my COC and they would start the process. I went to the COC and they are dragging feet and confused on how the process works. COC told me they got a hold of someone at West Point and are awaiting further instructions.

What am I in for?
Am I going to be kicked out? If so what should I expect and will I get payed?

Thanks,

J

I am in the Air Force with 28 years in. I also have Hemochromatosis..and they are kicking me out..not fit for wwd

I was referred for hemochromatosis and I got 2 doctors to write that I should be retoured to full duty and my PCM contacted a 3rd doctor who said I was deployable and the PCM returned me to full duty while I was in the IDES process.
