I was in the navy for two years, got out 50% disability through the VA and was put on TDRL. I was told when I got out I would get a disability check and a retirement check, which I later found out was false. I was also told since I was considered a retiree, being on TDRL, I would get my full benefits from the post 9/11 and gi Bill. I just met with a va consultant at a college, she told me I wouldn't get my full benefits with the post 9/11 the y would only pay half my schooling, that didn't includ bah either. Which I expected to get 1,100. I'm really upset, even more so to find that I should be getting all. I did some research and found some forms stating I should get 100%. If anyone has any information or would be able to share experiences, anything helps. Because so far my faith is wearing thin.
