Help! Do you think this means unfit, and how long do I have left?

Sorry for creating another topic, but I'm really freaking out about this.

My package was sent to AFPC the week before Christmas.(20 December) with a Commander's Letter suggesting Separation due to inability to do my previous job(which I asked for, because I don't want to be a burden anymore).

I went a long period without hearing anything, and my PEBLO saying that I just had to wait. Then I found out about ebenefits through a Google search, and I login to see that my package is at Baltimore.(although it's dated 28 October, which may be the date of my VA physical or so)

I ask my PEBLO and he says that he knows nothing and can't find anything for me.

I've been checking ebenefits every day, and I found out this week that my package is in Cleveland now?(20 March)

This was never even discussed as a possibility. Does this mean I was found unfit? I ask because my Flight is moving me into a critical position and they are moving anyone else who could possibly do it OUT of the flight into different sections.

I'm worried that either a) I'll be found unfit but I won't be able to outprocess/take terminal/etc because they're putting me in a critical spot. Or b) I'll be found unfit and people will look down on me for screwing everything up, which won't do because I want Letters of Recommendation for college.

Can anyone tell me if they think I've been found unfit, and if so, how much longer until I'll be outprocessing? I've told me Flight Commander and Functional about it and how I want our Flight to be prepared, but they seem to think I'll be returned to duty and aren't hearing any of it.

Bottom line: Within 2 weeks, I'll be the only person in my section doing 3 people's work. If I only get 60 days from notification to separate, I definitely won't be allowed to take my terminal because I'll have to train some brand new Airmen from Tech School to takeover my job.

Your PEBLO should definitely know something. Ebenefits reflects your status with the VA though so you should try to contact your MSC (VA rep) and ask him/her what's going on. Also, you have free legal advice provided by JAG...go and see them ASAP, they should be able to help as well. Good luck.
 
Unfortunate some pueblos are extremely lazy. Mine basically told me my package went to dc and to not call him he will call me. Well I called anyway after being told they can look me Up in their system for a status and he won't look me up and give me an update, just continues with the same "it takes 1to 4 months bullcrap" then continues on that he will contact me when the package comes back.

Wow, what a jerk. I guess that I got lucky. Periodically, I send an email to mine and ask for a status update that I can share with my chin of command and he replies within 24 hours with a printout showing exactly what my current status is. You could file an ICE complaint and that might get some results for you but, then again, you might make your PEBLO angry and that could have repercussions as well.
 
1. Upon receipt of the case files (request for rating and service treatment record) of unfit Service members from PEB administration, the D-RAS determines whether the VA C&P disability examination report is adequate for disability rating purposes (dtm 11-015)
va doesn't get it until you've been found unfit. My peblo is being the same way telling me that they don't know anything.
As for it being in Cleveland it was probably because Baltimore is pretty backed up I've heard. Don't have a timeline for you, but Cleveland seems to get done faster.

This is exactly what mine is saying too. He told me at first there was a 60 day time limit. 61 days came up so I called him and he said "Oh, it's been extended to a 90-day time limit." 91 days passed last week and I called him and he said "They're really backed up, I don't know anything yet. I'll tell you as soon as I find something out." I even told him that it was in Baltimore, and asked if that meant unfit and he said "I won't know anything until it finishes and comes back."

It's so frustrating knowing NOTHING when you have a person who should know and they're giving you the run around.

So it is unfit. Hmmm, I guess I'll see what my PEBLO has to say about that. Really frustrating that I have to find it here and my PEBLO just couldn't tell me. I'll keep you guys updated.

Yeah I was going to do an Ice report, but I figured the same thing, I didn't want him to somehow slow down my process either. I'll be putting one in once I'm done, and it won't be good. At least maybe I can help others in the future who will have to deal with him.

You can do one anonymously but he still might figure out who filed it.
