Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello all,

I am currently active duty Navy and have been waiting for a while on my PEB results. My package was received at PEB on 21SEP11, forwarded to VA on 21OCT11, Back to Navy on 28NOV11 and now back to VA for "rating corrections" on 15DEC11. I am still confused on the "rating corrections" thing, as Navy has no bearing on what the VA rates you. My PEBLO said to just wait, however, I spoke with the VA (a rep called me) and said all they needed was my DD214 to close out my case. This was after my package was "sent" back to the VA by the Navy. Has anyone else ever heard of this? It's now been 4 months since everything was sent off and I am starting to get a little worried. I haven't seen any paperwork from either the Navy or the VA.
Any advice that you have would be amazing!
Thanks!
Susan

Susan,

Actually, this all sounds like good news...as in you're getting closer to the end. My package has been with the PEB since 18 NOV. It sounds like they are preparring your Unfit Letter, with ratings, and all in one "Findings" Letter.

Where are you being treated? I'm being treated at Portsmouth.

My only suggestion would be to hang tight...you're almost there!

One of two things probably happened for the "rating corrections". 1- The Navy asked for a reevaluation. 2-

Thank you much for the advice. I have been in Limbo for 2.5 years now, between all the LIMDU periods, surgeries and now the PEB process. I am just ready to be notified and move on, whether it's back to Active Duty (I have 12.5 years in) or home to my kids. I am currently stationed at NAS Whidbey and get treated at Madigan Army hospital and the hospital here on Whidbey.

Thanks again!!

im stationed in whidbey also and going threw the same thing! mine was sent from the va back to the board on the 17th of dec and i still have heard nothing. i call the va rep (cant remember his name off hand) and he told me that i should have heard something already.
