I am a former Officer that returned to military service to go to Iraq with my son in the national guard. I accepted an enlisted postion because of time limitations and I really didn't want to get stuck on a staff and FOB. I am Happy to report that I requested a Grade Determination for retirement and it was approved.
 
I will be promoted on the day of my reitirement to the highest rank successfully held on active duty. So back to the Officer Corps (RETIRED) for me. Thank-You Jason for sending the regs to me ...... they helped me prepare my request. :)
