Glass half full while waiting

My PEB closed out on April 26 and I am waiting on my ratings and already have my preliminary unfit memo, but I hit 20 years on Active Duty tomorrow, and will be retiring where I am living now. Do any of you have a personal timeline for your ratings? My dashboard says I am at 8 of 15 days for VA ratings but the Army average is about a month I believe.

Congratulation on hitting 20. Concurrent receipt is a financial gift!

Totally envious of you getting to your 20.

That's going to make retirement all the sweeter.

I'll bet you were nervous. Lots of $ was on the line. Thank you for serving!

Those numbers on your AKO dashboard are goals. You can check out the Army case timelines section of these forums to see what people are getting on the different steps in the process. However, there are some people that speed through the process in a shorter than average time and some that take a lot longer than average. It's completely random so get ready for the ride. Good luck :)

Yeah I think I finally came to that realization today. I had a review of evidence with a date of today for ratings and now it went back to gathering of evidence. I don't mind too much, but the Peblo just talks to me without even looking anything up lol. I will just wait and try to be more patient.

It is soooo hard just sitting around and waiting during this process. I hear it can be worth it though ;)

It is so worth it to hit 20. I was forced out via MEB at 17.5. I would be making 1500 a months more for life had I been able to do another 2.5 years, or been able to retire via TERA.

I feel your pain. I'm at 18 and I just saw a bunch (some of them were turds) that weren't retained get to retire under TERA. I'm not very happy about it.
