I was medically retired last month (70% DOD 100% VA) and applied for my GI Bill. Im an Officer and was still in my 3 year ROTC obligation years. (Officers only start collecting GI Bill entitlement after these 3 years). However, the guidance l was constantly given was that all service obligations are erased for a medboard and every MEB is entitled to 100% GI Bill because it was an involuntary separation. I just submitted a HLR with the VA but hoping someone can share insight on this. THANK YOU!
