Ft. Sam Houston Timeline

My informal PEB packet has been out in San Antonio for over 3 weeks, has anyone else had to go through FSH, and how long did it take for you to find out Fit or Unfit?

mine has been there since 26 Jan 17. I am awaiting VA proposed ratings. They requested ratings on 6 March. The process has been long, draining, and needless to say anxiety is up.

Ft Sam took 2 weeks to find me unfit and 5.5 weeks to complete my DA199 after the VA completed my ratings
 
I haven't even been told if I have been found unfit at the three week point, my PEBLO tells me he can't get in touch with anyone. Guess I just try to stay patient.
 
My Packet was sent to PEB on 2MAR17, my PEBLO still has no update for me. She has said that since the "system" is down she is seeing it take around 30 or so days to get back. I'm hoping for something concrete next week.

If your tracker moves to the VA for ratings then that means the PEB found you unfit. Then can just work with your PEBLO to get the unfit memo. That has been so far the easiest way to tell from what everyone else has posted.
 
My AKO tracker for the last two weeks has said 0 days remaining and unknown for dates, my E-benefits is still at gathering evidence. I am hoping they just find my fit, but probably unlikely

If your packet is at the VA then 99% of the time you were found unfit by PEB
 
Mine has been at the VA since my MEB started, that is where I had all my C&P exams.
 
Had a formal board 8 Mar I know the results as I was told by the board that day but still no paperwork as of today.

So you have completed your C&P exams. Have you got your NARSUM and signed that? Because even though you did exams there they still have to send it back to PEBLO and MEB section to complete your NARSUM for you to sign and send to the IPEB for them to decide if you are found fit or unfit. Then if unfit they send it to your regional VA for your ratings.
 
Here is my timeline thus far:

August 30, 2016- notified that I was referred to MEB
December 5, 2016- counseled by PEBLO about MEB
December 15, 2016- submitted 21-0819 for VA Claims
February 24, 2017- received NARSUM from PEBLO
February 27, 2017- informed PEBLO I was appealing findings, lots of mistakes
March 6, 2017- submitted appeal
March 7, 2017- appeal denied
March 7, 2017- packet sent to PEB at FTSH

Still waiting to find out if I am fit/unfit- PEBLO says he has no idea where my packet is

Ok so from that it appears your packet is still at the PEB waiting for them to make decision on fit or unfit. From what I have seen it is taking right around a month to get that decision from the PEB. If you are found FIT then the PEB will send it back to your PEBLO letting them know. If UNFIT then you will see your packet go to the VA. You should prolly hear something in next week or so basing off of others timelines.

I found out what happened, although my PEBLO told me he sent my packet to the PEB on 7 March, he didn't actually send it until 29 March, so in reality, it has only been at FTSH for a week.
 
I'm in a similar boat. My packet was sent to PRB on March 2nd, still haven't had a response back about fit or unfit, about 99% sure it will be unfit. The waiting is horrible.
 
Got my Unfit memo today, now off to the VA for ratings and the next waiting game.

My packet was sent to IPEB 27March and my PEBLO checked the system Friday which shows that nothing has moved yet. If you don't mind me asking, how many referred conditions did you have and what's the main one?im frustrated that there's a few people who already got their unfit memo even though we started at the same time. Thank you!
 
I had two referred conditions- I have had two failed cervical fusion surgeries (so they sent it has DDD and stenosis in the cervical spine) and permanent nerve damage from that in my left arm.
