Just started MEB IDES as of today 6aug13. I have my legal brief 19aug13. I have a years worth of well documented medical attention and the MEB doc has started the NARSUM. Anyone have a timeline suggestion. And Kenner Med center experience?

Welcome to the PEB Forum! :)

The official published timeline for Active Component (AC) military personnel within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process is 295 days, but it's potentially delayed beyond the aforementioned duration due to the massive amounts of backlogged DoVA disability claims.

Nonetheless, never default acceptance to potential injustice while championing for well-earned and well-deserve military disability compensation in the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process to include future military healthcare benefits after separation/retirement! ;)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Here's my timeline in case it can give you some timing ideas - good luck:)

JUL 16, 2013 - PEBLO checked system and said 199 being prepared; when I begged for preliminary ratings, shared I was rated 50% DOD & 80% VA but wouldn't be final until 199 complete
AUG 7, 2013 - Received DA 199

11 yrs AGR / 6 yrs guard in the begining. Holy crap! I hope not, I am AGR probably going to WTU. I already have 14 months of diagnosis, tests and treatment for adult onset uncontrolled epilepsy. And years of diagnosis and treatment for cluster headaches which are chronic now. I'm praying to hit the 200 day or less mark so I can try and focus on quality of life cause I've had a real bad year and want to be done with it all.... Patience...zen like patience.......
