I thought I might share my timeline while i am currently going through this tiring process. I am currently waiting on my NARSUM appeal results. I am being told that it should be in any day now. I will update this timeline as I progress through the process. Hopefully this might be helpful or motivational for someone.

May 5, 2015: MEB Referral
July 7, 2015: Initial PEBLO Contact
July 8, 2015: PEBLO initial Counseling/Brief
July 31, 2015: C&P Exam - Eye Clinic
Aug 1, 2015: C&P Exam - Ortho
Aug 1, 2015: C&P Exam - Gen Med
Aug 6, 2015 C&P Exam - Echocardiogram
Aug 9, 2015: C&P Exam - Audio
Aug 31, 2015: Received C&P Results (missing Psych and Foot)
Sep 4, 2015: Received C&P Results for Foot
Sep 10, 2015: C&P Exam - Local VA Cancelled Scheduled Psych Exam due to Examiner out for months
Sep 24, 2015: C&P Exam - Psych (Exam conducted at the next closest VA)
Sep 30, 2015: Received MEB Results / NARSUM Review (Decided to Request an IMR/Appeal)
Oct 2, 2015: Telephonic appointment with MEB Counsel regarding IMR / IMR memo generated
Oct 5, 2015: PEBLO receives Commander’s statement
Oct 5, 2015: Sent IMR Request to PEBLO with supporting documentation
Oct 7, 2015: Telephonic Interview with assigned IMR Doc
Oct 8, 2015: Received IMR results / recommendation
Oct 13, 2015: Telephonic appointment with MEB Counsel about Appeal
Oct 14, 2015: Appeal Submitted to PEBLO w/ supporting documentation
 
Wow you got your NARSUM really fast. My last C&P exam was also on Sept 24 but I received my NARSUM yesterday only. I agree with everything on it so I will just sign it after I meet with the legal.

Naughim, I think the speed came at a cost which resulted in me having to appeal the NARSUM. At least you were able to agree with your NARSUM. My NARSUM excluded my entire last C&P exam (Psych) and didn't even mention or include any Psych diagnoses.
 
I am really sorry to hear that. I hope they get it right this time around. I checked with legal and turned in my NARSUM as they think I should clearly get 30% and more. The PEBLO is confident that I will be found unfit. Let's hope I get that letter within two weeks.

I have been looking around, it looks like the unfit memo have been happening in about a week or so, but every body situation is different. I hope you get what you want, this process is something else. I got word back today from my PEBLO today that two of the three items on my appeal got approved which is great. Just waiting on one more signature before i can see it.

update..Received Unfit Memo today, dated 10 Nov 2015. The same three original conditions deemed "not meeting retention standards" by the MEB were found unfit by the PEB. I'm kind of confused however on the actual unfit determination date since I received an update last Tuesday, 3 November from my PEBLO giving me a Bi-monthly updated which stated, "Currently we are pending your DVA ratings from the VA and DA 199 from the PEB."? Very confusing. I'm wondering if the PEB made a determination then (Nov 3) and just didn't formally produce the official memorandum signed by the presiding board president until today. Which could mean the request for ratings from the VA could already be seven days into the process.

i hope the VA is done with mine that quickly, my " unfit forwarded to VA " was the same date on the 10th. congrats

@dals Thanks! Got exactly what i wanted, it looks like your timeline is similar to mine. My Ebenefits changed on 13 Nov to pending final decision and then it went back a few weeks later to preparation for decision and then back to pending final decision to finally gathering of evidence. Now my VA is complete but will sit at gathering of evidence until they receive my Dd 214. Im sure yours should be done already. Have you heard from your PEBLO, MSC, or the VA (called the 800#)?

Nope nothing yet, i talked to my PEBLO monday and his best guess was just sometime in December. I am overseas in japan so i haven't tried to call any of the other numbers i just check in every week. I think my unfit condition is a little complicated though they may take longer to decide what to designate it as. Im hoping they say my left hand is close enough to useless to give an ankylosis rating, im only 33 so hopefully i'll live long enough to have to get my whole wrist fused when im 60 +.

Are you Army? they seem to have the fastest timelines lately.

Update: Received DA 199 today! Looking pretty good, 60% DoD, 100% VA

I am currently waiting to hear from the VA regarding my VARR. I concurred with the PEB decision. I wonder how long that will take and not sure how the process will go.

Im not sure. But when dealing with the VA, patience is all you have. Wish you the best.
 
Finally received my transpoc notification and orders on December 23,2015. Start transition leave on 31 December 2015. I chose my date since what I wanted was within the 90 day NLT date. It's finally over. Or at least this fight.
 
Congratulations on your transition leave. Not sure why your orders took so long. Mine took only 1 day after submitting my DA 31 and DA 199. It's really a mystery how everything works.
