I just wanted to post my running time line for Ft Drum. I couldn't find any current ones to compare to!

06/01/2015 Received permanent profile for referred condition -bilat hip lab are torn)
06/05/2015 Referral received
06/08/2015 VA claims
08/13/2015 Medical Exams completed (they were backed up on Gen Med exams)
8/29/2015 New Perm profile issued Upper/lower body (bilat hip lab are torn - left shoulder multidirectional instability due to multiple dislocations).
09/10/2015 Narsum received
09/11/2015 Narsum signed (couldn't complain, looked great)
9/18/2015 WTU packet sent up the chain (I've been referred since feb I don't know why they waited so long)
09/22/2015 Unfit memo with peblo (wont be able to get it until 9/24/15 due to office hours)

Now im just waiting on my Ratings and orders :D I don't plan to appeal unless it is grievously off. Anyone have experience on how much time is usually left between the unfit memo and transition? I've got 35 days saved up as of 1 Oct.

It could take up to a month to receive your 199 once the VA do their part. In my case, the VA took only two days to finalize my ratings, but the Army took almost a month to write my 199. The VA finalized the ratings on Aug 28 and I signed my 199 on Sep 24, so hang in there. I am just waiting for my orders now, I was told it could take up to three weeks but the average here on Drum is about a week. Good luck to you.

I'm a Marine but my timeline is close to yours. However, my PEBLO told me he's not allowed to tell me if I'm unfit or not. It's his personal preference I guess, in case something changes. I was told if I don't hear from him, it's a good sign or if ebenefits changed to pending decision approval that was a sign. I'd rather just be told straight up rather than 'looking for signs ' lmfao. Good luck with yours.

I don't know how it works in the Marine Corp but I'm guessing it should be a similar process as the one in the Army. The PEBLO has access to the PEB site where everything that deals with your case is uploaded. He printed my unfit memo and my 199 in front of me straight from the site. I would not pay too much attention to benefits yet, remember; "we are not veterans yet". My benefits still shows "gathering of evidence" but i have already signed my proposed ratings. Good luck to you.

Thanks! Good to know.

Thanks...yeah..unfortunately the Marine side of things, you're kept in the dark..I've been persistent with him...called the peb..so on but the only thing Marines are told is to be patient..we don't have a source, PEBLO or otherwise to give us updates. We're told from day one that we will find out our finding *unfit/fit and our ratings when they come in...nothing in between unfortunately. Thanks to this forum I've been in touch with some Marines that are at or near my same base, with very similar timelines that are told the same thing...we don't hear anything until the end. Sucks but that's the way it is for us. Our PEBLOs say the same thing "our hands are tied...We can't tell you anything. "

Yea unfortunately im in the same boat, all i know are my VA ratings are done, and only because i called the VA multiple times to get that answer. PEBLO told me there was nothing new and i have to wait until he calls me, a week after the VA told me my ratings were done and sent.
