Found fit for duty with Type 1 Diabetes

I just got the results back from my PEB last week and was found fit for duty with Type 1 Diabetes :). This is exactly what I wanted and was actually suprised that everything worked out. I am now back on full duty and in the process of reenlisting. My question is if I am found fit for duty and medical has signed me off for full duty what are the chances that my reenlistment will be denied. My condition is very well controled and I am currently in a non deployable training squadron. I have been going through the limited duty and PEB process for over a year and I am anxious to reenlist but weary that everything will fall through. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This news plays an interesting twist in my MEB. I am for sure set one being unfit, maybe there is a chance.

What meds are you on? How are you controlling it? Are you deployable? Are there any assignment restrictions (Like no overseas type things,CONUS only?)
 
BIRDMAN I need your help! My husband is going on MEB for type 1 diabetes - from reading you post it sounds like your diabetes is managed pretty much as well as my husbands is. The docs and I are looking to find cases of other Marines who have this condition that have been deamed fit to serve to establish a precident. Meanwhile, my MEB should be back anytime now.

Is your husband a type 1 or 2? One of my friends was returned to duty as a type 2 no problem. He is on an assignment limitation code, but still allowed to stay.
