Fort Gordon Timeline 2016

Shit sounds pretty much the same. I have herniated disc L4&L5 and stenosis. I am suppose to see a neurosurgeon next week but don't want to get the surgery right now especially going through the MEB process. What will a strong write be for my back and who does it the VA? I just want to make sure I don't get screwed on the back issue since I get recommend for PTSD only last week.

My case is very similar to yours. I told the neurosurgeon point blank that I don't want a surgery and he told me that he would not even recommend me for any surgery at this time because it is a 50-50 chance. He told me he does not think I can continue to stay in the Army with my condition and I agree with him 100%. He thereafter recommended me for MEB.

Dotlak, are you going through Fort Gordon if so what is your time line like? I agree on not getting the surgery at this time is yours herniated on L4&L5 as well?

I am in Fort Drum. I got recommended for MEB on 4 May. Just waiting for the commander's statement before I sit down with my PEBLO.

How long did it take for you to be able to view your stuff in AKO for IDES after you got recommend for the MEB

I cannot still able to view anything on AKO as am writing you!

Wow that's a long time I was told it takes about 10 days to populate on AKO

Does anyone have a POC for a PEBLO in Gordon. Please let me know. Thanks.

Thank you so much. I was put in for a MED Board three weeks ago and still don't have a PEBLO assigned.

Well my appeal finally came back. Fitting condition which was VA diagnosis of medial tibial stress syndrome was changed to DDEAMC diagnosis of right gastrocnemius tear with retraction and scar formation declared unfitting. Going over to peblo today to sign findings and send off to PEB.

Hey guys, just thought I would include my timeline to help anyone who has a similar timeline and is still waiting on things.
