Fort Gordon IDES Timeline So Far

Quit looking at e-benifits. It will drive you nuts! There is the truth, and then there is the info on e-benifits. Take a look at the info, maybe once a month. Anymore then that is just making you feel good.

Unless you are expidited, you are probably looking around 2-3 months from the time the VA publishes its proposed-ratings and when you will probably get your 199. Go to school, get a trade, and keep busy. They were the only way I didn't drive everyone around me crazy.

Good luck and thanks for your service.
you are right let see what I can do. May I will see my family and spend sometime with then. anyway eagleone good advise and thanks for you services too.
Happy Holydays

Yomo,
If you haven't received your 199, those dates are guest-a-mates, and they are already wrong. The VA has nothing to do with when you will get your 199, and you WILL NOT get final VA rating until you are off active duty (out of IDES process, off terminal leave...).

Not fully understanding where you are in the process, I am guessing that the PEB is waiting for the VA to produce and return your IDES file back to the PEB. Those dates may be an estimate of when the VA will produce your proposed ratings, and the individual who filled in the e-benifits info put in the "standard VA timeline" and has no clue about the IDES process.

E-Benifits is less than worthless to those SMs that are in the IDES system. It is confusing, and the individuals that input the info into the system have no clue and are not trained.
\will you receive your 199 before you get a new EAOS date?

EAOS? If you mean end-of-active-service (or ETS), than yes. The PEB provides the VA's proposed ratings and the IPEB's conclusions within the DA 199 (Army form), and then if the SM accepts the informal findings the SM is sent to transition, to be outprocessed, and return to civilian life.

Thats what I meant. They call it EAOS in the navy but its the same shit. Thanks for the info

I need to scream!!! My PEBLOs boss called me today. My medical board records and hard copy of my
entire medical records were sent electronically and via FedEx to the PEB on 22 August 2012. My C&P results from my medical appointments regarding my medical board were supposedly sent to the VA in early August by my MSC at FT Gordon, and just now (today) notified that the medical records were never received by the VA. (Not to mention that I also sent them electronically to my local VA office, which they called and confirmed receipt, and I also hand carried a copy to the Regional VA Office in Roanoke over a year ago, Do they eat records there?) I have been in the waiting on ratings since being found unfit in Sept.I have repeatedly called the VA..standard reply, don't need anything waiting on ratings.Went into the Regional Office and they pulled my claim up, said all was fine, your waiting on ratings.
I have never been informed by the VA or my assigned MSC, , that anything was required and the significant delay
and lack of communication has been unacceptable. Also, I called my MSC the week of Thanksgiving and they failed to mention the VA never received my medical records and they were reluctant to assist me or address my concerns.
Now the VA wants all new copies of my Med records.
How does one keep their sanity?
Do I contact my Congressman, and put it his hands?
I have talked with my PEBLO today also and they have meticulous records on my case ,dates, tracking info, emails etc. to FT SAM and the VA. Said someone needs to have their head on a platter.
