I am currently in the process of a fast track PEB. It's been really hard to find information on exactly what a fast track PEB is. I meet with my PEBLO in two weeks but was trying to find some info before. I'm being sent to a PEB for cronic ankle pain, ankle arthritis, and limited ROM. My foot DR. recommended seperation from service. My CO also stated in his paperwork that I couldn't perform duties in my MOS and recommended serperation from service. So my question is if I should excpect a fit for duty or a not fit for duty? My ankle range of motion was above the the not fit for duty ranges. My MRI shows damage to all three major tendons. I only recieved one surgery which was an ankle scope and debridement. I would appreciate and info on a FAST Track PEB and any insight on what to excpect for the PEB results. Thanks for everyones time!
 
Is there some way to choose this "fast track" option? I'm going to see my doctor today for evaluation, and I'm expecting a separation recommendation. If "fast track" can get me through this faster, that would be awesome.
 
From what I understand it is for soldiers who only have one problem relating to duty. I have just an ankle problem so I am being fast tracked. If I also had knee problems relating from the ankle problem then I wouldnt be fast tracked. Once I talk to My peblo and ask about it I will post her answers.
 
Do you know how much faster "fast track" is supposed to be? (as oppose to the normal way, which can take up to a year from what I've read here).
 
I was told 3-6 months from start to finish. But I will ask my PEBLO when I see them. I think that you basically skip the MEB portion of the entire process. I was only sent for a ROM and xrays prior to my PEBLO appointment.
 
I am not sure of anything like that, i know my process seems to be going pretty fast but i am ready for the stand still once it hits the PEB. I think it is good to go through the MEB doc, they are suppose to be good advocates for your case.
