Extension Issues

I just got an email regarding my extension to stay on PEB. I’m in the Marines and I’ve extended twice before this. One for recruiting duty, the second one was to stay in place for a few months.

Does this mean my board is done? Will I be on medical hold? I’m kind of at a loss because I wanted to quit a couple weeks ago and now we’re here.
 
If you don't extend you risk losing potential benefits, like Tricare. If you have a familiy I recommend extending. If you believe you are 30% or above- stay the course.
 
I understand the waiting sucks but don't walk away from something that can benefit you and your family in the long run.
 
Absolutely. That’s the exact motivation that got me through my shitty period a few weeks ago feeling discouraged. So, to get an email today saying my extension that I submitted to stay the course got a “diary feedback report” and to contact my career planner was off putting. Also, very frustrating.

im really just trying to find out if I can get the third extension or will the IDES process just end?
 
I just had to do a one-year extension and understand your pain. However, stay the course. My ETS was originally November of this year and they are projecting I will be completely done before Christmas. If you are in the IDES process they can and should allow you to extend. Do not give up hope.
 
If you’re in the IDES you will be extended until a determination is made.
 
They give you the option of not extending but make it perfectly clear it will not benefit you.
