My orders were created 4 November, retirement date 28 Jan 2017. Now for the frantic out processing!

That was quick man, I am about to sign my 618 and start the waiting game. So nervous and want this over as painless as possible. I wonder how long it is going to take form this point forward?
 
Mike314, just a heads up. AFPC is currently 50 days behind for decisions. long wait my friend.

I was also told by my PEBLO about this long waiting period. It's driving me nuts. My stuff was sent to IPEB 28 Sept. So if the average time is 45 days to get back fit/unfit decision and ratings then add 50 days on top of that? UGH!
 
I was told pretty much the same thing. My PEBLO fwd me an email from AFPC that stated the IPEB is backed up roughly 30 days and FPEB is backed up 2/3 months. My stuff was submitted 11 October, I don't expect to hear anything before the new year. Taking the original 45days plus 30 days and the upcoming holidays....... no way before Jan 1 (but please feel free to prove me wrong AF)
 
You both are on track. I was told it will be after Jan 1 before the package us reviewed for fit/unfit and then the clock starts going forward with the VA and then QA from the AF.

Really? I don't know if I can handle that one man, it's time for me to go!!!! Hopefully, March is my time to go, I dunno though. My stuff was sent off last week, so will see. Just signed my 618 and sent off last week my friend.

By the way 3 unfitting conditions. Is that pretty normal?
 
Yes that is normal. I have two unfitting conditions that they are claiming. More popped under the VA C&P exams and afterwards as well.

Got ya, What are your 2 if you do not mind me asking? It says gathering of evidence right now. projected April or November 2017 for now. Has it been going faster than the projected by chance?

Oh okay, hope you get better and have a good holiday. Mine updated to Initial Review completed. What does that mean, on E-Benefits?
 
My status on Ebenefits went from gathering evidence(was at gathering evidence forever) all the way to pending decision approval in just one day! My stuff was submitted to IPEB 28 Sept. Not sure how the rest of the process works, but hoping I can hear something soon.

@mike314, My status said initial review complete while it was still at the gathering evidence phase. Not exactly sure what it means though

curious what dates you guys are using? The actual day you signed and paperwork was submitted (11 OCT 2016) or the day it says your case was started in EBenefits (24 AUG 2016). As you can tell, there is a large difference.

The day I signed my paperwork and it was sent to the IPEB
 
well then, maybe I have only a few weeks to go?!? Tomorrow is 45 days. Was told by my PEBLO they were roughly a month behind.

I'm on day 58. My claim went historical and another one opened up yesterday.
 
well, I hope to have an answer in two weeks then! you have your %'s yet?
