eBenefits... any Cog?

While in active duty does Ebenifits actually help with understanding where your package/claim is?

Attached hopefully (if it works) is a screenshot of my Ebenefits. Package was sent <60days ago, was curious if there really is something past due. I can't get the VA to aknowledge yes or no ATT.

Unlikely. Mine has said that since April. Check with your MSC, though, just to make sure. They should be able to tell you if they are waiting for anything. Best of luck...Bob

On the right side there is a hyperlink to see what the required evidence is. From recent posts it usually is the DoD has failed to supply the copy of the DD214 for your finalizing claim (I can tell because of the new date and they have it listed as a Compensation Claim type). Take a copy of Member 4 to your VA MSC and tell them it needs to be sent to complete your compensation packet.

Service Members are required to take a copy of the DD214 THE DAY it is received to their MSC so the final ratings can be completed. It is very common that SMs forget to do this small but very important step.

Many times when it comes to ebenefits while still AD it's very confusing, if evidence was past due or needed your PEBLO or MSC would be aware
So don't stress yourself over it stating evidence past due (doesn't mean anything at this point)

They are not asking for your DD214, you don't even have your ratings yet (I'm guessing)

Also when you do get your DD214 don't rely on your MSC to send it to the VA, you can upload your DD214 yourself to ebenefits and also mail or fax a copy of it to the RO your ratings are located

Per my experience nothing past due except your dd214. you have to upload or send your dd 214 after your separation.
Then they will close this claim and reopened as new claim.
 
Yes I am AD and don't have my ratings. Thanks to this forum, I learned about the DAV's ability to check on the claim so I can ensure there is nothing actually due, because the MSC is unable to help.

I went through the eBenifits site and put in for representation request. Took 48 hours to go through, but I am currently waiting on a return call from my DAV Rep who seemed more than happy to check on things. Hopefully another WIN for this sites ability to help out!
 
@sgtwill your ratings should be in ePeb contact your PEBLO.

That current status means your rater has recommended percentages on your disabilities and is pending their supervisors approval. Again, your PEBLO should be able to see ratings now. Congrats
 
The VA has had my unfit memo for Cognitive and PTSD since 25 April, 2013. No change in status of "Received packet" since 25 April, 2013. My PEBLO tells me that he has heard nothing. My JAG has heard nothing. My liaison at Fort Gordon's phone just rings with no voicemail. The Liaison at Fort Gordon does not reply to my emails. Should I be concerned?

Rating can take 150 days or even longer
 
I guess I fall into the "longer" column then. At least on this Wednesday.

It really all depends on how complex your injuries are and how many you have. The more you have the longer it is going to take because they have to ensure they correctly combine claims and correctly not combine claims. Be a little more patient and hopefully everything goes your way!
 
You're right guys. I appreciate your advice. We are all in the same boat. My crash was in May 2010. I'm just ready for this to be done. Just like everyone else. Thanks again.
