My IDES Claim closed in Ebennies this afternoon, I can see my ratings on the E-bennies dash board under disabilities. The PEB Referred me to the VA to have PTSD and Asthma Rated. I currently have 50% for PTSD and 30% for ASTHMA due to burn pit exposure. My Question is does the DOD Combine ratings the same as the VA? Will this work out to 65% and then round up to 70% DOD? Any information or benefit of experience is appreciated.
I concur with the 70%. Congrats! After you start receiving VA payments, don't forget you have up to 1 year from your discharge date to file service connected claims for back pay.
I am currently receiving VA COMP as I am an RC Soldier who was injured/ill on deployment.
The one thing we can take away from this is the new Dash Board on E-Bennies is a better tool then checking
for your VB 8 Letter. My E-bennies Disability Link under dashboard lists all my claims both Referred and Claimed and next to the PEB referred conditions it says (DES) Disability Evaluation System under the heading Related to. Because only 1 of my DES Referred items increased and it was not enough to increase my VA rating my VB8 Still has same rating and date on it. If I had not had the increase on one of my Referred items I would have been rated at 50% with only 30% CRSC. But if the math above is correct it will be 70% DOD, 80% VA and 50% CRSC.
I will also add that thanks to the new E-Bennies Dash Board and Disability's Link, I knew my ratings were in and what they were before my PEBLO.
