Doctors do not know the reason

I have an electrical shock that runs from the back of my head and down my back. Sometimes down my right arm. This happens about 3-4 times a week and about twice a day. I also have migraine headaches that I do not know if it came from my concussion but the electrical shocks also happen while I have those headaches. They sent me to a neurologist in one post and they could not determine what it is. Now they I have PCSd and in a new post, they are sending me again.

This shock happens for about a good 2-3 seconds at a time, sometimes numbing my hand for a split minute. All my test came up negative in the past.

My question is: If doctors cant find what it actually is, how do I claim this at retirement

Claim the disability, not the diagnosis. The "shocks" sound like a nerve problem, so, claim something like, "Nerve dysfunction/pain." For the migraines, claim them as "migraines."

If I try to claim "Nerve dysfunction/pain.", will they try to mix that in together with something else?
I thought the electrical shock may had to do with me having Tourettes...doctor was not sure about that
The docs once diagnosed me with Multiple Sclerosis but then said NO

It was in 2006 while plain unit flag football in iraq. Friends told me I was out for a good few minutes but when I woke up I felt fine. leadership told me to follow up but I never did since I felt fine. Doctors have known about this since 2012 now that I have been going to the doctor about headaches and things about the electrical shock
 
Have you had an MRI and a lumbar puncture by the Nero at your previous post? I was diagnosed with MS last Sept but have had symptoms for a few years and didn't know it.

Was it similar to mine?
They did a nerve test for carpal tunnel but not for my lumbar
 
Facial numbness, pain up and down arms, headache, eye pain, I hope you don't have MS, work with your Nero/ doctors it's important you are diagnosed properly. Be proactive and research your symptoms it helped me understand what to look for.

Not trying to be short or curt, but- I don't know what they might do. I have no reason to think that they would, but, anything is possible. Look at it another way. What is the other choice? Not claiming the condition?

If they do "mix claims" together then you can fight it out at that point.

I will look into that. I have similar symptoms but I would not think its anything to the effect of MS

You may also want to have a MRI done on your neck area, I literly blew out the C6C7 disk and didn't think anything of it. It hurt but then I started having the VERY same pains as you but on the left side. The disk blew out so bad it had laid over a nerve near my left trap, but depended how my neck and arm was positioned would depend on if I got the pain or not. They did x-rays and other tests but it was only the MRI I guess that would show this type of injury. Nothing to play with, I now have athropy in the left arm and chest area. I would be telling the Docs I'm not leaving until all tests are done.
