Dependent claim

So the va with all of their wisdom didn't add my wife or two of my kids to my claim even though their info where on the forms that the va rep sent in when I did my exit interview during the med board process. So today I had to file a dependency claim to get them added on. My big question is does anybody know how long that takes. It shows a estimated completion date of 11/11-12/28. Is this accurate? Thanks

Not likely. I did 2 separate dependent updates. First for spouse, then for child in college (waited until actual first day of classes for him just in case). Spouse add took less than a week, child took just about a week (but it was a holiday weekend) and DFAS adjustment letter came same day. I don't know if it matters or not, but this went to Winston-Salem and was submitted online.

Mine took exactly 12 months and only got done because I had a minor break.
