My prayers have been answered. I agreed with the findings and I'm hoping to meet with my CC to request June 28 as my DOS. Hope the rest of the December boards are soon to follow, Good luck to you all!

Thank you, Jesus because you have delivered in the time you have shown me, merci because four of these members received their results and have now passed the psychological and emotional ordeal. Thank you my Lord because you had revealed it me and you never keep those that believe in you waiting.

Bloggy, Jxallen, Sisco, congratulations. You guys deserved to get kicked out of the Air Force with your high percentages. Sharifa, there is a reason why you did not leave. Although you cannot see it now, God will show you before you retire. However, you did a great job motivating many people throughout these months. Put on you retirement and head that way.

abyss5150, there is more to come... Although my stuff left on December 3 and I have not heard from them yet, I feel happy that I have lasted long enough in this side of the river to see some other people getting to the other side. To the remaining 4, your stuff is almost here.

I just got my orders, with a seperation date of 23 August 10.

I requested my seperation date to be 23 July 10, but with leave, and permissive TDY time, they bumped me one more month...

Time to start the out-processing! I'm just to freakin excited lately...

That's cool man.......I'm happy for you. If only I could be so fortunate. At least the orders are coming through rapidly. I don't wanna have to sick the tracker on them as well!!

I'm not sure what the hold up is for some folks... I was talking to another member of these boards "pjtuck" and he and I have nearly the same injury... he's been waiting for orders for over a month!!

I had mine within 48 business hours.

I'm here at shaw too. I've also been told to expect 6 month wait. My package was sent 20 Jan 10

im new to this site but my package went up on 17 of Dec 09. looks like im not the only one that has been waiting a while to find out. now when my package was sent out i was told by the MEB section here at Shaw that it would be at least 6 months before i hear anything. does that sound about right?

Same here Frosty...but I'm final out processing on 01 Jul 10 and selling back 60 days so I can get some chump change to throw into savings while I'm job hunting...

I was the one that mentioned about the tax free severance... They will with hold 28% of your severance; however, if you get rated through the VA for the same condition that you are being separated for your severance will become tax free. You have to submit some paperwork (its the mil what do you expect), but once you get everything submitted correctly they will return that 28% that was originally withheld. Now there are some caviots to this...You should really look into the reg if this impacts you directly...But, if you do not get your VA rating in the same year (i.e. I will be discharged in June so I need my rating by Dec 31, 2010) you have to submit the paperwork along with you tax return and they will return your money to you then. Just a heads up there are some other ways that your severance becomes tax free too, such as injuries that occured in direct combat...Hope this helps!

Well I talked to peblo today and still nothing, so tomorrow I have an appt with my congressman office to see if they can do something. Hopefully they can

Hi Frosty,
My PEBLO called Randolph today about my orders (It's been over 5 weeks since I received my PEB results). Randolph said they are still waiting for the Guard to process my orders. I guess since I'm in the Guard the orders have to get approved by the Guard before Randolph will process them.

Hang in there buddy... You'll get your orders soon enough, and while you wait, you can pad your checkbook for a few more weeks! :)

I'm telling you, this damn pilot program slows it all down. First they had us sitting on our thumbs last year because the VA had a waiting list for the required appts. Now it's waiting for them to give their rating and send it back to AFPC. My husband's package is still sitting in Maryland.
The PEBLO seems to think it's because of his conditions. In total, he had 34 things on the list that the VA was evaluating him on. (including the conditins which initiated the MEB)
This is getting so frustrating. It's literally making me sick.

Results are back: 10% + severance pay. My package left on Dec 3, came back April 29. Jesus is almighty and good. I love my God. I have to go to church and celebrate in his prescence. These packages actually come and it will be soon when the rest of December and the remaining November will get their results. I will stick around.

Tell me about it! My husband called the VA yesterday and they have his package. They said the last time they saw any action taken on it was March 31st! They claim this means it's on someone's desk being "worked on". I figure at this point, it's probably sitting at the bottom of some huge stack of paper, forgotten. He has 3 years before he reaches retirement. Wonder which will come first, retirement or the peb results??? (I know that's a little overly dramatic, but come on. His package was sent in November).
