I'm pretty sure he was submitted under the pilot program. Our base is in the pilot program now. We weren't when dh was first informed that he had a diagnosis which would require an MEB. (SLE- systemic lupus) But I think they switched over before referral mgmt found him a rheumatologist and the MEB actually got initiated.

bloggy, fr0sty, I can understand how discouraging it may sound, but we will all get that call. This is Spring Break time, which a perfect time for Board members to go on leave. This could make your waiting time a little longer. But know that eventually you will receive that call. None of us can go there, but Saint-Esprit is there behind them, looking at what they are doing. I will keep you all in my prayers.
yeah its just frustrating. i have had 4 back surgeries and still cant put my own shoes on, yet the AF is still holding me to waist messure for a pt test every 90 days cause i would have to have a 35 in waist to pass and i dont have that. i have been unable to exercise for the last two years and a 35 in waist is just impossible. i want to put all of this stuff behind me and move on to a civilian pt program free life.
I never even thought about these people taking leave.... If they are that far behind they houldnt be allowed to take leave...If my work isn't done I can't take leave, but I forgot, rules only apply to things that don't benefit the normal individual.: )
Surely the the rest of the military, when they decide to take leave, someone else picks up the slack...
Not like if I took leave, that someone wouldn't do my job.
This month started out so promising, and here we are half way thru, and 2-3 people have results.
Hopefully, they'll crank them out the rest of the month, and they can start on Jan packages come May 1st.

Well, it's official... my results came back excatly how I thought they would.
Seperation with Severance Pay.
I have 3 days to decide if I want to stand before the formal board, or accept the findings. I suppose the wife and I will have to talk over dinner and see whats best for our family.
16 weeks and 1 day for results!

Hey guyz/galz........Please check the 1st post. I updated it to reflect the actual time-lines of each member for a more accurate depiction. I've also included the average time-line for the packages received in the month of December.
Good news so far is that it seems as if AFPC is getting packages back in a much better time frame as of late. The average for the November packages was 135 Days. For the packages received thus far in December the average is 116 Days. Maybe they are making headway?! Let's hope this week will be a good week for December folks.

I am glad that fr0sty received his results. I hope that him and his wife make the right decision together. More results will come this week. In faith I can say that results will rain between today and April 30. abyss5150, I will stick around until I see your results come in. There rest of you, December team: close your eyes and feel the air blowing in your direction because your packages left in the month in which He was born and your results will come back in the month in which He resurrected.
