So I have a question my ratings are 80% NAVY and 100%VA. I was on DFAS trying to figure out that calculator. But whats odd is I get nothing for CSRC if my award isnt 80% or above. However if I would have put lower percentage for Navy and got anything above that I automatically get more money. All of my Navy 80% is Combat related. Not sure about the VA but I know there were conditions that I did get from the Navy that were rated by the VA and were Combat related.

So heres what I got with the calculator on DFAS

3100 Base pay(random number) 10 years 2 months of service
Spouse with 2 children
VA 100 = 3166
DOD 80 = 0
CSRC 100 = 788 Just playing to see what I get.

Total monthly pay = 3954

3100 Base pay(random number) 10 years 2 months of service
Spouse with 2 children
VA 100
DOD 80
CSRC 70% - Just playing to see what I get. I get $0

Total monthly pay = 3166

Now lets say that the Navy only gave me say 30 percent but I for some reason got 70% CSRC

3100 Base pay(random number) 10 years 2 months of service
Spouse with 2 children
VA 100
DOD 30
CSRC 70% - Just playing to see what I get. I get $788

Total monthly pay = 3954

So ask what is the deal? Basically if this calculator is right I have to bank on the CSRC percentage coming back at 80%

Anyone, Sorry Ive looked on the forum and havent found anything. There was said to be a glitch in the past with the calculator
