Hey All,
This is kind of technical question. I'll be getting $1600 or so a month from my residual medical retirement ($5650 high 3x 75% - my 100% VA $4044), my remaining longevity amount should be $650 or so. If I submit my CRSC and, let's say, I only get 10% for the tinnitus (I really hope I get more but that seems to be worst case), that only comes out to $175. However, does me being approved for any CRSC at all automatically waive my taxes on even the other 1600 from my residual medical retirement? Haven't been able to get a solid answer on this yet. Figured someone out there has researched/experienced this already. Thanks.
