Hey Folks!

2 Questions about CRSC retro pay:

1. Who actually pays us the CRSC retro pay? Does DFAS pay it or the VA? I've been told by people who may not necessarily know anything, that its the VA who pays the retro to us.

2. If logic prevails and DFAS is the agency which makes the payment to us... should we expect a CRSC pay statement for the retro pay?

Ok, CRSC is payed by DFAS Cleveland. Retro is Payed by DFAS Cleveland. To view your CRSC pay statement go under your my pay account and it will be on there. Whoever said the VA pays you CRSC please tell the to hold their right arm out all the way in front of them, make a fist and slam it right into their mouth! Happy Thanks Giving! Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much!! I couldnt figure out why the VA would have ANYTHING to do with CRSC retro. The only connection I could come up with is that DFAS would ask the VA what my percentages were at a period in time. But, it wouldnt make ANY sense for the VA to pay me retro that is owed by DFAS.

I really appreciate your input.

oh... and surprisingly enough, the moron was a person who answers the phone at the Army HRC call center. I know they outsource that job so, Im not entirely surprised.

Indeed, good reading in my opinion! ;)

Wow, I just experienced a :D which doesn't hardly ever occur anymore unfortunately; thanks for the :), too!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!
