CRSC Questions - Chapter 61, PDRL, VA, NG Retirement Eligible

I'm looking at my 199 I've already signed it but the more I look at it I still have a few questions. I am absolutely good with my ratings. But one of my ratings has a v3-Yes by it and I have the K-1 code in my VA letter under special monthly compensation-loss of use of a creative organ. My question is however if I'm rated at 100% VA will i receive 100% with spouse and 3 children plus additional monthly compensation? if so how do I figure out how much the disability i'm referring to is rated specifically at 20%

Indeed, the V3-Yes means that the PEB made a determination of "The disability did result from a combat-related injury under the provisions of 26 USC 104 or 10 USC 10216."

In reference to the VBA question, SMC-K monthly compensation rate is $101.50 effective as of 12/1/2013.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Hello I am having to look at the equasion again here...looks like with the new rating for CRSC I will be going over my ceiling of retired pay...can someone help me out here with this computation...thank you

1. 3500 x 0.50 = 1750 retired pay reduced to zero by VA comp amount
2. 14.5 years x 0.025 = 36.25% multiplier
3. 3500 x 0.3625 = 1268.75 longevity portion of retirement pay
70% rate with spouse and 3 children under 18
