Good morning,

I have 14 years in the Air Force E-5, with a 100% VA rating and 80% DOD rating. The two DOD unfitting conditions are code A direct result of armed conflict, 70% PTSD and 40% Diabetes insipidus, plus other physical wounds I received from an IED blast, I was told to collect the medical documentation for those wounds when applying for CRSC. I was on the MEB for 20 months and out-processing at the moment. My question is will I be entitled to receive CRSC? since the VA is giving me 100% the CRSC entitlement is confusing and I don't understand it. Appreciate any advice thank you.

Hello,

General.
Your DoD retired pay will be reduced by the amount of the VA compensation you receive.
See this LINK which discusses waiver/reduction of retired pay <---

CRSC restores some or all of the "reduced" retired pay mentioned above; an application is required.
A Supplement to CRSC Information <---Collection of CRSC info

From the limited info your provided, it appears your would be eligible for CRSC. You must apply for it via your branch of service. See the collection of CRSC info cited in preceding sentence.

In addition to CRSC, you will continue to receive your VA compenation.
