Ok so I'm new to this but apparently farther then some just don't understand it much. So I was TDRL for I'm not sure how long then PDRL and since then back in 2015 I got retirement orders. I was National Guard and reservist but was deployed early on in OIF. Army gave me 70% for PTSD and TBI.... PEB/MEB, VA gave me 90% for a bunch of things. I know I qualify for something but my PEBLO never really spoke to me and just left me with questions... I'm hearing from friends I should apply for crsc or crdp what is all this? So confusing

Not sure how CRSC works but CRDP is for service member that are retirement eligible with 20 years of service and at least 50% disability. With CRDP you get your full military retirement pay + VA disablilty pay!

My injuries that disabled me were rated at 70% thru board and 90% by VA, I received my blue ID card and have been drawing my VA disability pay but nothing in regards to anything else. According to my documentation all my injuries were combat related PTSD, TBI, Back and knee injuries as well. According to DFAS i'm not getting CRSC and my RAS on DFAS shows gross pay and a va waiver pretty much off setting that amount then it states that I have been exempted from taxes due to my disability status. So my question is should I be applying for CRSC, I thought it was automatic like CRDP. Thanks for all the help, my head is spinning right now.

Nothing is automatic when it comes to MEB/PEB, you have to fight for everything. Good luck to you!

Ok so started off by digging around and finding my retirement packet. I was never told to do anything with it and having a moderate TBI doesn't help, apparently I was supposed to contact an RSO and fill out a DD2656 to start off my pay account, and do SBP counseling so I've been retired two years but never got paid. Cant apply for CRSC if I'm not even in the system... yea that one surprised me too... filled out and now wait for them to respond, I'll update when they do.
