CRSC Calculation

Hello Everybody!

I submitted my packet on 1 July 19 and it was approved on 8 August 19. That’s really fast from what I been reading. My approval is 70%CRSC .DFAS said I should get my first check on 01 sept 19 but I have no clue what to expect. High 3 of $3,675.70, 11 years, 5 months , and 16 days active. I retired 70% Army and 100% VA. Married with 2 kids under 18. Can someone please help me with this calculation it would be greatly appreciated .

1. Your retired pay is reduced by the amount of VA compensation = zero retired pay remaining

2. 11.416 AD yrs x 0.025 = 28.54 multiplier

3. 3675.70 x 0.2854 = 1049.04 longevity portion of retirement pay

4. CRSC at approved rate of 70% = more than the longevity portion of retirement pay

CRSC PAYABLE = 1049.04
