CRSC approved 70%, do I get retroactive pay?

If he is already retired, why does he need to see the Peblo?

What was his Dod %?

With that math he would have $3100 Dod at 75%, which is improbable with only 7 years in for his last 3 year average pay to be $4133. Are you sure the $300 isn't his CRSC?
I am not sure I will ask.

OK. Now I'm "cornfused". Can you collect DoD, CRDP AND CRSC at the same time? I'm a 20 year vet, "proposed" ratings are 50% DoD and 100% VA. The DFAS calculator says I can but from some of the reading on this post it seems like I can't. Also, do they only look at the things that you were found "unfit" for or do they look at all of your claims?

Thanks.

You cannot collect CRDP and CRSC at the same time. If eligible for both, you must select the one most beneficial to you. CRDP is taxable but CRSC is not so a lesser CRSC amount may be more beneficial.

CRSC is based off all VA rated conditions your service CRSC office states are combat related.

Use the DFAS calulator. It will get you close and you can play around with the inputs.

CRSC pay is based on the VA compensation charts. So if you are 50% CRSC, then the base would be the same as the VA table for 50%. They then bounce that against years of service and disability percentage to come up with the CRSC amount. I had 13 years active duty and was CRSC rated at 60%. I get $941 a month.
quick question, is CRSC based on actual table? Meaning Veteran + Spouse? I'm only asking because I am still trying to fix getting paid at the single rate despite me being married. Wondering if CRSC would need to be addressed also.

CRSC will be tied at the hip with your VA information. You will need to have that fixed, or they will pay you the same as your compensation.

yep, did the ebenefits claim for it in July, was told be VA rep that I'd be looking at March 2014 until complete.

I just got my CRSC approval letter from DFAS. It was approved for 70%. So I'm waiting on it to process for payment from DFAS which I am told can take up to 60 days. I also just got a letter from the VA stating that my PTSD rating has gone up from 50% to 70%. So my question is do I wait to turn that letter into the Army as well as CRSC after The DFAS processing? They both need to know my rating went up. I just thought if I turn the higher rating in now while it is currently being processed for payment that it might screw it up or delay it. Thoughts?

Is there any value in submitting to the CRSC office disabilities which were rated at 0% by the VA but combat related? Or should I just keep it simple and stick with the conditions that are actually rated something?
