Hello, under the Naval Council of Review Boards (CORB), I am confused if I can apply to the Disability Review Board (DRB); I have applied to the BCNR. Though, what does per their directive Pursuant to 10 USC 1554, former service members who were separated or retired from active duty without pay because of physical disability are eligible to apply to this board actually mean? Did one have to have been in a PEB and be eligible or can someone who was forced out because of disabilities also apply-who was wrongfully removed from going before the board (removed from the board illegally and never got chance at PEB)? I really need help guys and gals, thanks. You can PM me if you like as well.

Would you be able to share a little background on the discharge? Key points would be the year it took place? Nature of the discharge (condition not a disability, misconduct, etc.)?

I'd be happy to help you sort this out. Here is a good link for legal assistance. http://www.nvlsp.org/

I applied through NVLSP, they seem like good folks but the due process from them takes a good while and I have been fighting for many years and don't want to complicate my claims as they overlap with the VA. I would like to provide you info, sure, can I kindly PM you?
