On the form for where it lists conditions I am being boarded for, it only says “Cervicalgia”... this is basically saying I only have pain. I have been diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Brachial Plexus Disorder, Cervical Radiculopathy, Instability of right shoulder, and I am currently under going treatment for possible TIA’s or a Neuro problem they haven’t figured out yet. Why is it only listed at Cervicalgia?? The PEBLO said they probably used a blanket term for everything, but how is that fair or accurate? They obviously will find the Cervicalgia fit because it’s not an unfitting condition but in reality I have multiple conditions from a training accident I was in.

I would not get overly excited at this point. When you meet with your MSC (VA rep), he/she will go over your entire record with you. Then you will claim all the conditions you listed and probably a few the MSC will identify that you didn't even know were eligible to be claimed.

Have you seen a specialist? Have you asked for a second opinion?

I currently go to 3 specialists and going to another one soon. I have a lot wrong but the base just isn’t documenting it correctly I think. No where in my record it says what i was diagnosed with but in my off base ones it lists a ton. When you claim these conditions is it before or after they give you your PEB result? I’m kind of confused

Any updates on your case? I have the same issue.

I have had issues with civilian providers and getting my medical conditions documented. Take your civilian records and get them in your military treatment records and take them to your pcm for guidance. I am being seen in house and have been diagnosed with thoratic outlet syndrome but, it’s listed in my medical record.
