So I was just informed that my service time was incorrectly calculated (so glad it took them almost 90 days to figure that out. . . .)
I know that contracted ROTC time counts towards the VA's calculations for Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits, but does it count toward severance pay computation? If it does, where can an interested person find the resources to back it up?
I am having a hard time locating a straight answer (or am just having one of those days where I am overlooking the obvious) somewhere on the internet. I am about to start combing ARs pretty soon, but shudder at the thought right now.
If it does count towards calculations, that would rock, but if not, what I am getting will be better than a sharp stick in the eye. . .
