Commanders Statement

Thank you this actually kinda helped a lot I’m tired and stressed out. They are projecting me to be out in about a month or 2
Best of luck. If you're active look into VR&E and educate yourself on your state's unemployment program.

I do have another question for you regarding the commanders statement. So the VA found 9 things that fail to meet retention standards. But as I said with how my commander wrote his statement. What are the chances of me being found fit for duty.

You’re confused. The VA doesn’t determine fitness for duty - your branch of service does.

I’m not confused I just don’t think I worded that the right way. The issue my anxiety is giving me. Is that I’ve been told by my peblo that the PEB doesn’t care about the commanders statement but I’ve read on here that suggests otherwise. I’m not sure what to do or ask in this situation.

There's not much to be done at all really. All you can do is hope the board members concur that they're unfitting. If you disagree with their informal decision appeal. Odds are impossible to guess.

Exactly. Just worry about what you can control. You’ll be fine - the commander’s statement is a nice to have but not totally necessary. The doctor’s assessments matter more.

Thank y’all for the answers. I’m just terrified I guess.
