Below is how the process typically works. If you haven't been notified by the MEB Dr that you are going through a MEB and you don't have a PEBLO, I would be concerned. What you have described is your PCM inputing your P3 profile into the system. It generally takes the MEB Dr. more than a day to review your case. What I have seen is 1-2 weeks. That would be past your final out date.
What does your COC have to do with it? The commander provides a lot of information to the MEB and a commanders letter. Search on here as to how important that is. Your COC is also who is going to stop this ball from rolling while the MEB process officially kicks in.
Do yourself a favor and go talk to the Ombudsman 1st thing tomorrow and explain everything you have said here. He will help and make a call to your command.
What are your conditions? What rank? how many years?
1. PCM signs P3 profile and notify MEB
2. MEB doc reviews
3. You get notified of MEB
4. You are assigned a PEBLO
5. You meet VA MSC
6. PEBLO schedules VA exams
7. You complete VA exams and VA sends exam information to MEB
8. MEB prepares NARSUM
9. You concur, ask for independent review, or appeal
10. After you get past step 9, it goes to the PEB
11. PEB reviews and makes a fit/unfit decision
12. If unfit, PEB sends packet to VA for ratings
13. VA rates all conditions noted from your VA exams in 7
14. VA sends ratings back to PEB
15. PEB looks ratings over and either concurs or disagrees
16. If PEB agrees, they put your 199 together
17. PEB sends 199 to your PEBLO and your PEBLO shows it to you.
18. You either concur, or appeal
19. Once you concur, you sign 199 and it goes back to the PEB
20. PEB sends 199 and findings to PDA
21. PDA reviews, signs off on it and sends your name down to your servicing PSB
22. You get orders
