I was wondering if anyone could help. I am extremly confused about my diagnosis and the ROM.
SECTION 1-Diagnosis
1A- Claimed conditions: Cervical Segmental Dysfunction, Degeneratic Disc Disease.
1b- Diagnosis associated with claimed conditions: Cervical strain
Other(specify)
Diagnosis #1: Cervical DDD C4-C5 with resultant mild spinal canal stenosis and mild bilateral neuroforaminal narrowing.
Rom: Forward flexion 0-40
Extension 0-20
Right lateral flexion 0-30
Left lateral flexion 0-30
Right lateral rotation 0-40
Left lateral rotation 0-40
3E: Guarding and muscle spasim -Yes
3F: Additional factors contributing to disability: Less movement than normal( due to ankylosis, limitation or blocking, adhesions, tendon tie ups, contracted scars, etc).
7B: Does the veteran have any other signs or symptoms of radiculopathy- Yes, bilateral carpal tunnel.
14C: Are there any other significant diagnostic test findings or results? Yes- Mild dextroconvex curvature mid spinal spine.
I know that because of the Rom it will most likely be rated 10% but with the 3E, 7B, and 14 C could this be higher. I have the curvature in my medical records a few times from landing on my back and neck training MWDs but it always started may be due to muscle spasim. Any insight would help.
