I've been awarded 36 months of Ch 31 benefits and have been in school for a year. I am finding 12 credits per semester too demanding with my chronic pain. Can I reduce my number of classes per semester so I can get the most out of the classes in spite of pain by pacing myself or do I need permission from my VRE counselor about scheduling? I can get it all done in 3 years instead of the usual 2 year program prescribed by the school and would still be within the 36 months. My school advisor is fine with the adjustment. Does the VRE counselor have to be involved in the scheduling?
Can I set pace of my classes for Ch 31 VRE as long as it's within the 36 month allotment?
