C&P exam results

I had my C&P exams July 1-3 and I still don't think my PEBLO has gotten the results yet. I didn't need to have anything else done. So how long does it usually take for them to receive the results of the C&P exams?

Shouldn't take long--a week maybe. Are you sure your PEBLO doesn't have them? Once your C&P's are complete, your PEBLO needs to be getting with dictating physician who is to write your NARSUM.

I had mine done on the 3rd of July as well. My PEBLO said that my record show "pending NARSUM dictation" since 18 July. She said that I may have it ready by the end of next week, of course furloughs are throwing a wrench in the best laid pl

From personal experience, the DoVA forwarded all C&P Examination reports to my PEBLO/MEB physician upon the completion of my final C&P Examination. To that extent, my NARSUM was dictated within 3 to 4 days after the MEB physician received all completed DoVA C&P Examination reports.

In retrospect, the whole DoD IDES MEB process, from your referral to the MEB until the day your IDES case file is forwarded to the DoD IDES PEB, should take about 100 days per official IDES published timelines.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

I waited about a week after my exams and went down to my local VA clinic (googled the address). Once there I asked them for copies of my recent C&P exams, signed a release form, and they printed me off a copy while I waited. The guy working the desk was surprisingly pleasant to speak with and was happy to help. The process may not work the same for every VA facility, but it worked for me and another guy in my unit.
