C&P Exam inaccuracies

Good morning everyone,

I had my C&P exams a couple of months ago and received both my NARSUM as well as the DBQ's. There is a huge mismatch between the C&P exam reports and the NARSUM/my medical records. What options do I have if my VA ratings come back and do not accurately reflect the severity of my conditions? How do you challenge a C&P exam? it is extremely sloppy and the evidence portion for every single condition I claimed, show medical records from one condition as a reference which means she just copied/pasted it. The ROM's are nowhere near accurate and do not reflect the C&P exam goniometer measurements or the measurements taken by ortho, physical therapists, and other medical professionals. I've had multiple unsuccessful surgeries on different parts of my body and it is infuriating that this person is playing with something that was earned with literal blood and sweat.

You have to file a VARR if you do not agree with the rating, ROM exams are typically contentious.

It often turns out just fine. If an unfitting condition is not properly rated, as @oddpedestrian pointed out, you can ask for a VARR. For non-unfitting conditions you can appeal and have records from your doctor attached. In some cases the VA will re-rate you. One thing about the government is the number of appeals type processes is often myriad.
